Gwen Mahuma-Madida
Gwen is equipped with an entrepreneurial spirit which has helped her into building a portfolio of investments in the South African Infrastructure sector. She is the driving force behind Mahuma Investments, a company which she started in 2005. She is passionate about girl-child and women empowerment and is involved in various community projects in Ga-Rankuwa and Hebron, where her family comes from.

Time at St Mary’s DSG: Grade 5 to Grade 12
Strongest school memories: School musicals, choir, boarding school…and the headmaster.
Memories of Sue: Her mum (one of my favourite teachers) and Sue’s academic prowess (she was always top of her class).
Gillian Viljoen
Gillian loves writing, exploring, traveling and being an eternal student. She works both as a personal freedom coach and as a management consultant. She believes in creating a life that you love and living it at a pace that suits your soul. (This is somewhat in rebellion to school and corporate training!)

Strongest school memories: School plays; sitting on our school suitcases waiting to be fetched in the dusty car park.
